The Mines Safety Week 2024 Shivalik silica got First Prize in all-over performance.
In the closing ceremony of the Mine Safety Week 2024 organized at Jaipur by the Directorate of Mine Safety, Ajmer, under the Ministry of Labor and Employment, Government of India, regarding safe mining operations by the mining workers, Bayana was felicitated for being first in following the mine safety rules and meeting the standards. Yogesh Mittal, the Managing Partner of Shivalik Silica (Agawali Silica Sand Mine), has been honored by giving him a citation and insignia, etc.
During Mine Safety Week, a dedicated team, operating under the guidance of the Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS), plays a crucial role in the distribution of prizes. The team systematically visits each mine, meticulously examining adherence to DGMS criteria, rules, and regulations. Their thorough inspections are recorded and then transmitted to the heads of each team.
Upon receipt, the team heads conduct a comprehensive review, ensuring compliance with all safety standards. Following this rigorous process, the safety prizes are distributed to deserving mines based on the outcomes of the inspection. So this is the all process of the prize distribution.
Other programs were also organized on this occasion. This honor was given to him by the honorable DDG (Deputy Director General) and chief guest of the function Shree TR Mandekar and other officials. Director of Shivalik Silica Mines, Nitin Singhal said that before this, different teams of the Mine Safety Department inspected various crusher industries and mining areas and checked the safety rules, welfare of workers and departmental guidelines, and inspection & testing of tree plantation, housekeeping, welfare Activities and vocational training etc. were inspected and tested.
After which, if they were found successful in excellent working style and following the rules, they were given this award.
